GOD IS GOOD
I can't even begin to put into words my emotions right now. Since yesterday morning we have been living second by second. It's been "when we get this done" and "when we hear this". Delivered by the doctor this evening, the best possible news, our sweet baby has NO genetic disorder. None. Nothing. "Fatal" "Facial Deformaties" . Out of the picture.
Now we move to phase 2. What is on her brain and why is her growth slowed? Answers that can only be revealed by the specialist reading the MRI. That means more waiting. Tomorrow at noon we go back for another ultrasound. Our wonderful doctor wants another look. I pray that he looks and there is nothing there. That's a prayer warrior statement. That is a statement of total and complete trust that our God is an awesome God. Lacey would be mad at me for that prayer. Her prayer is for guidance in the reading of the tests. Her prayer is for continued growth and development. Her prayer is the prayer of a loving mother that will take what God gives her and be blessed and will love. If all of you remember, the Deaton girls favorite movie in the whole world is "The Other sister"..... we LOVE different. We LOVE our God, and we trust his Goodness and grace. This grandma prayer warrior is asking for the total miracle, my wonderful loving daughter, the momma prayer warrior is thankful for the chance. We have a good blend, she and I. And our little miracle will always know it.

"Holy Moly"
The condition that they used to describe Laynie's brain is a 12 syllable word that none of us can say it has a "myo" and an "encephal" and "hypo or hydro" something like, anyway I thought everyone that knows Lacey will love this, she just calls it "holy moly". And when I talked to her last night, she said "The doctor said he looked at the films over and over yesterday and he's convinced it's not holy moly". I love that girl. She is truly my hero.
Isn't God's mercy supreme? Even in our darkest moments, we find hope and courage. God is Good. all the time.

Update on Laynie
The doctor called Lacey last night and told her he had looked at the ultrasounds over and over throughout the day and he's pretty much ruled out the genetic disorder. PRAISE GOD! We'll have the true results from that on Friday, but he's convinced it's a cyst on her brain and we're doing the MRI today at 11:00. The specialist that reads the results is out of town until next week, but the doctor is so anxious to know that he is going to email the MRI to other specialists and see if any of them will read it, so hopefully, we'll know soon. Lacey is also going back on Friday for the doctor to do another ultrasound and look again. Keep praying. I know that sometimes God's answer is NO, but sometimes His answer is YES, and whatever the outcome, I know God has the Plan. We did a 360 turn yesterday. From yesterday morning to yesterday evening, the chain of events that happened were just short of amazing. But that is God's love for us, amazing. Keep praying people, and please contact all your prayer chains in your churches, and ask other people to pray, I want nationwide prayer for my precious angel. More later... Love to all
