October 24 Update

Well, the neurologist's office called us today (3 weeks after the MRI) and proceeded to tell Lacey that they couldn't see a cyst, and think it's only fluid, which will probably resolve itself before Laynie is born. "Mildly abnormal, at worst". Well, heavens to betsy, the girl is going to fit right into this family, if she is mildly abnormal. CAN YOU BELIEVE this roller coaster ride we are on? Today, Lacey and I decided that everything we are hearing is just WORDS. Period. Words. I'm rubber and you're glue and everything you say bounces off of me and sticks to you. Words. We felt mildly excited, but are so used to the roller coaster, that Disney Land will NEVER hold any excitement for any of us anymore. We go to the doctor tomorrow for Lacey's diabetes test and to hear the heartbeat, and the High Risk Specialist wants to do another ultrasound on Friday, but ok...... let's hear some more bad news, or more good news, or just no news. Guess what? GOD HAS HER PLAN ALREADY DECIDED. We are just the spectators along for the glorious ride and show. God answers prayers everytime, just sometimes in ways we don't realize he's answering them. We expect answers the way we want them, and guess what??? It ain't about us... it's in HIS time, and when He delivers, Holy Moly, He DELIVERS. We trust His plan, and we Love our baby, and God is Good. All the time.
